Atlantic Aviation owns and operates over 60 FBO's across the country. Coordinating and servicing thousands incoming and departing private planes requires up to date information and a way to easily manage, track and process all flights, services and refuelings. In order to meet the challanges that providing superior service to its clients, Atlantic Aviation has invested heavily in their technology solutions. Internally they have built a custom platform that allows them to effectively manage all service related items for all flights.
Atlantic Aviation developed internally and deployed a hybrid mobile application using PhoneGap/Web technologies taking advantage of their web based application and APIs already in place. This solution served them well for some time, but issues with the UI/UX and limitations with the current stack prevented them from getting to where they wanted this applications to be in terms of usability and stability.
